The handmade Vista Cup is thrown and trimmed on a potters wheel. The clay and glaze materials for these are entirely foraged in Northern California and minimally processed to allow the natural beauty to show through. The various layers interact to give a rich and varied white-light grey surface with occasional pink flashing known as "gohonde".
